Prime Gaming refresh 2023

I was brought in as Prime Gaming’s first full-time copywriter to develop a brand voice and collaborate with Art Directors on a more Prime-oriented look and feel. All the while writing core digital, video, CRM, and UX creative deliverables. For 2023, the main focus was to form the foundation for educational, flexible, and approachable creative templates and slowly transition each channel near the end of year to the start of 2024.

Simplifying the benefits

With free downloadable games, in-game bonuses for a variety of games across genres, and a monthly Twitch channel sub, a revamp of how PG talks about its benefits was needed. I was tasked with brainstorming succint ways to highlight all three of our benefits at once then testing them across audiences and channels. In addition, we also wanted to form the basis of a more flexible, more conversational brand voice that matches the refreshed art direction. Here are some of those attempts below.

Customer Journey emails

I was also tasked with creating a 20-deliverable long web of customer journey emails to help both educate potential Prime members on PG benefits and entertain current PG members with content featuring games and genres they like.

Refreshed content trailers

Video is a big channel for Prime Gaming. With monthly releases of new content and games coming fast, drop trailers were close to the top of the list for a refresh. We wanted to make something clear and showcases our game partners but at the same time, make it fun, fast, stylish, and exciting.
