The Wanderer Sessions Project

It functioned as a live-music documentary series made to help struggling bands get the word out, as a new site to discover new music, and bring attention to the lack of venues in our city by playing in the streets. I created the site, ran it's social media presence, and created every bit of content. I had to learn how to shoot, edit, write scripts, and distribute it as best I could without any money or support. 5 years and 90+ entries later, I started getting plays and shares from Germany to Belize to some islands I didn't even know existed (much less have internet). Not bad for a side project!

Part 1 was find a musician I love and ask to collaborate. Shoot some video with a DSLR and a $100 mic that my Dad gave me for Christmas.

Part 2 was work on my writing and open up my experience to the world like a travel journal. I was told years later that I made a branded content campaign. But the biggest lesson of all was that I made something that inspired conversation.
